FNF Canada, a division of Fidelity National Financial and one of the largest title company in Canada, found itself deluged with an average of 250, 000 mortgage and lease forms each month - totaling five million pages each year. An outdated manual process of sorting, stapling, categorizing and routing incoming paperwork into processing queues proved time consuming and error prone.
This session explored how FNF Canada was able to integrate ABBYYs intelligent data capture technology into its existing document management system and successfully automate the processing of 19 different form types with 98 percent accuracy while at the same time helping the environment by eliminating the need for two million printed pages and saving $390, 000 annually.
